Apple LOG still photography mode?

Not sure if it would be technically possible to do, but I’d love to have the ability to set LOG as an input mode for still shots. That way I could use a film video LUT I already have and like when taking still shots. In still mode if I pick SDR or HDR and then pick my LUT and apply it at 27% or thereabouts it sorta mimics the look, but isn’t quite right. Any thoughts? There is another app in the App Store that appears to implement only this feature but the app is terrible so I won’t use it. Thanks!
