When you first start up momentprocamera in video mode, you'll see indicators for the three lenses, 100mm, 24mm and 13mm, that are on the iPhone 17 Pro. Thats's great!But as soon as you click to start recording, the three lens indicators disappear and are replaced by a zoom control. Why?As a filmmaker, I want to have full control over which lenses I use. That's for many different reasons. But with the zoom control, I have no idea what lens is being used. That's not good.Slow zooming in and out feels very amateurish. It was something that people loved to do in the 20th century. But today, you want to be able to jump quick and easily between Normal, Tele and Wide Angle. It like making a cut and saves a lot of time when the film later is being edited.Please, can't you arrange so that you can choose whether you want to keep the lens indicators while filming or if you want to have the zoom control.

I take many photos of my kids, and they are always moving. So I usually shoot in Shutter Priority at 1/250. Indoors it works fine because the ISO adjusts automatically, but in bright or outdoor light the images get overexposed. Then I have to quickly change the shutter speed or switch to Auto mode, and sometimes I miss the moment. I would like a mode or option that lets me set a minimum shutter speed with Auto ISO for quick shots. Similar to the “Auto ISO with minimum shutter speed” feature available in Aperture Priority mode on mirrorless cameras.

Currently, Moment Pro Camera doesn’t seem to have support for the macro lens in iPhones that have it.I think the implementation should be just like the stock camera app, where it would automatically switch if the focusing distance is shorter than a certain number, with a pop-up button to disable macro mode.Since Moment Pro Camera aims to offer a more manual shooting experience for users, maybe the macro lens can be activated with a button, just like the other lenses.

Depending on the shoot and your set-up you may not have direct access to your camera. OR maybe your a DP and want to review/control the camera from a tent near by. We want to offer this through an iPad/companion app/feature. Still lots to figure out - but we know there is a need and want to deliver.

Profiles introduce a whole new workflow for users. When opening the capture mode modal you will be presented with 4 Quick Slots where you can recall previously configured camera settings. You can store as many profiles as you’d like. But only 4 can be slotted to the Mode Modal. Profiles will store: - Capture Mode - Format And then you can opt-in/out of storing the following: - Color - Looks - Exposure Priority and Values - External Storage - Optics

Hi! I wanted to highlight a small but important issue I’ve been running into, as well as suggest an improvement that would really help daily use.Earlier versions of the app used to reset the shooting mode (A / M / S) after closing, but this has been fixed — the mode now stays selected, which is great. However, frame rate still resets every single time the app is launched. Even if I choose a high frame (e.g. 1/100) rate, it always goes back to the minimum value (e.g. 1/50), and there’s currently no way to lock or save the preferred shutter speed or frame rate settings.When using ND filters, this becomes especially inconvenient, because I need to manually set everything again on each launch. It isn’t critical, but it slows down fast shooting and adds extra friction that could easily be avoided.Would it be possible to add persistent frame rate settings or at least a lock option so the chosen shutter speed doesn’t reset after restarting the app? Even just preserving the frame rate would already make a huge difference.Thank you so much for the continued updates — Moment is genuinely one of the best apps on iPhone. I use it every day, and these small improvements would make the workflow even smoother for creators like me.Thanks again for your hard work!

I am a right hand user. 99% in manual mode. Most of the times I want my iso to be at lowest. The first slider that i adjust is shutter speed. Doing that, I cover with my thumb the exposure meter, not knowing how under/over exposed is my image (especially in tricky conditions).

Offer a new mode - potentially through our Slow Shutter mode that has tuned image stacking for night photography. Potentially offer a button to distinguish between a portrait taken during the night or astro photography. —- Apple handles the transition from “taking a photo in normal mode - to a new slow shutter night mode - pretty seamlessly. At the present I’m not sure how this feature could live outside our Slow Shutter mode. A few settings and configurations you would have set in your photo mode would be ignored and not come into play when in this Night Mode.I think the way around this is through Profiles - build a profile catered to night portraiture - so toggling between modes can be done with a tap.

Our more casual users feel there is a gap in our offering by not having Night Mode. Though I’m not sure it makes sense to just copy Apple’s night mode verbatim - we can consider ways to help users take better night shots. But honestly - if you want night mode - maybe just use the native app.

A clearer, punchy, more intuitive way to browse and understand Looks <h2>How</h2><ul><li>Treat the viewfinder itself as the Look card, showing key Look info as unobtrusive overlays.</li><li>Place metadata (Title, Creator/Import source, Color Space, Favorite state) in consistent corner positions.</li><li>Explore options for slightly increasing Look label character count while keeping cards readable in both portrait and landscape.</li></ul>

It would be great to choose or create a default Album for storing photos rather than the main “Photo Library” (option is set under Hardware &gt; Media Storage Location). This keeps the “Photographs” separated from all other shots taken with the standard camera app.

LooksUsers have access to a quality store of LUTS provided from top-of-the-line colorists that will apply to photo or video and can purchase. These “Looks” can be purchased in single or in some cases bundles.Unlike a LUT file - Looks live only within MPC II and can not be exported. Action PlatesUsers have access to a vibrant store of action plates that will grow over time. Action Plates will vary in style, layout, and possibly in some cases functionality as well. <h2>How?</h2>— These two products will be unified under one “Store” accessed via the “Settings” tab. — Looks can be previewed in camera. — More on pricing later.
