I really like having manual Custom WB using a gray/white card. A couple of things that could make it more practical:
1. Custom WB sampling area
Would it be possible to choose the sampling area, rather than always using the whole frame? For example: Full Frame / 50% / 25%. Gray cards are often much smaller than the entire frame, so currently I have to zoom in until the card fills the frame before taking the WB reading. A smaller sampling window would make this much faster.
2. Multiple Custom WB presets
It would also be great to have Custom 1 / Custom 2 / Custom 3 (or more) so we can save and quickly recall different WB settings for different locations. This would be much more practical than having to remember the Kelvin/Tint values.
Personally, I’d actually prefer having AWB + Custom presets over a long list of generic WB presets like Daylight, Cloudy, etc. But of course, this is just from my workflow. 🙏
