When using Apple Log with Medium/High Stabilization, I understand that the viewfinder has to fall back to the Log feed for low latency, so LUTs can’t be shown in real time.
Would it be possible to have an optional small PiP preview in a corner of the UI that shows the processed/LUT-applied image with a delay (even 1–2 seconds)?
It doesn’t need to be real-time — even a periodically refreshed preview would be useful. The main purpose is simply to see the actual processed look and exposure while recording, instead of having to judge exposure blindly from the flat Log preview.
Definitely an optional toggle, since I imagine this won’t be useful for everyone. Just an idea that could make High/Medium Stabilization much more usable for workflows like mine. 🙏
