Onion skinning - Overlay - Frame Preview

Hello Moment team,

I’m a big fan of Moment for professional photo and video shooting on iPhone.

I’d like to suggest a feature that could be extremely useful for creators: an onion skin / previous frame overlay mode.

The idea would be to show a faded preview of the last photo or video frame directly in the camera interface, so users can better align movement, framing, and composition between shots. This would be especially helpful for:

• stop-motion style workflows,

• repeatable framing,

• product shots,

• motion consistency between takes.

A few implementation ideas:

• adjustable opacity of the previous frame,

• option to show the last 1, 2, or 3 frames,

• toggle between photo and video modes,

• ability to lock the overlay while recomposing,

• optional alignment guides on top of the overlay.

I think this could be a very powerful addition for creators who already use Moment for high-quality capture and want more control between shots.
