Control Slider Layout Order

I am a right hand user. 99% in manual mode. Most of the times I want my iso to be at lowest. The first slider that i adjust is shutter speed. Doing that, I cover with my thumb the exposure meter, not knowing how under/over exposed is my image (especially in tricky conditions).
